Product Overview

Anti-static distillation bags are high-performance polyamide-based liner films designed for industrial solvent distillation machines. With surface resistance of 10⁹-10¹⁰Ω and melting temperature of 200°C, these bags fit inside recovery drums to hold waste solvent during distillation, allowing complete removal of sludge residues without tedious barrel scrubbing.

Compatible with alcohol, acetone, isopropanol, toluene, xylene, paint thinner, and ink-based waste solvents. Custom dimensions and thickness available upon request.

How to Use

  1. Fully fit the anti-static recovery bag inside your solvent-recovery barrel
  2. Pour waste industrial solvent into the bag
  3. Operate solvent-recovery machine following your site SOP
  4. After distillation completes, take the whole bag out of the drum
  5. Dispose bag and residues following local hazardous-waste regulations
Important note: Polyamide material dehydrates under dry conditions (especially winter). Pre-humidification treatment is required before use. Please check storage & handling section below.

How To Get Correct Distillation Bag Size

To ensure a perfect fit and avoid any compatibility issues, please provide the following information:

  1. Clear photos of the original distillation bag (including an overall view and a close-up of the opening area)
  2. Key dimensions: bag diameter, effective length, and material thickness; Length (mm) * Width (mm) * Thickness (μm) (Is the opening on the long side or the wide side?)
  3. Required temperature resistance
  4. Chemical composition of the solvent to be processed

If you do not have an original spare bag for reference, please measure the equipment's inner chamber and provide the following two sets of data:

  1. Inner chamber diameter
  2. Effective inner chamber depth: measure the distance from the bottom of the chamber to the sealing surface of the lid (not the top edge of the tank)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the maximum working temperature for 50μm-100μm distillation bags?
A: The melting temperature is 200°C. Please keep actual operating temperature below this value according to your solvent-distillation machine setting.
Q2: Why is pre-humidification required?
A: Polyamide material loses moisture under dry air and becomes brittle, raising tearing risk. Controlled humidification restores original film toughness.
Q3: Can these distillation bags work with my existing solvent-distillation unit?
A: Yes. Please share inner diameter and height of your distillation barrel. We can recommend exact bag dimension for you.
Q4: Which chemicals cannot be used with these bags?
A: Concentrated strong acid and strong alkali are outside recommended scope. Submit your solvent composition list and we will perform compatibility assessment for you.
